London Gatwick Airport is the second largest international airport in England, situated about 50 km away from Central London. It is also the second busiest airport in UK, after Heathrow. The statics shows that in 2010, Gatwick served more than 30 million of passengers from all over the world.

However, if you are planning to take a flight from this major airport, then you should pick some Gatwick airport hotel, where you will have the chance to take a rest before flying away to your foreign destination. Moreover, if you have more time to spend, then you can make a little research about different interesting places or attractions which you can visit in the area. So, here are some suggestions:
  1. If you do not have much time to your flight and you do not want to stay on the airport, then you can go spend few hours exploring the local town.
