Buckingham Palace

London is one remarkable place, full with history and culture. There, you could spend some memorable time, exploring marvelous landscapes, magnificent buildings and impressive landmarks. Millions people from places all around the world visit London hotels, annually, for different reasons. Some of them go to the city for business purposes, other just want to spend one unforgettable vacation with their dear ones. However, if you are planning a trip to London, there are some things you need to consider first. The most important one is to make a schedule with the places and attractions you must visit during your stay in the city.

Buckingham Palace or also known as the Buckingham house is one of the iconic symbols of London, owned by the British Royal family. The building was built at the beginning of 18th century as a countryhouse, for the Duke of Buckingham. One century later the house was expanded into a palace. An interesting fact is that Queen Victoria was the first to live in the new Buckingham palace, where is also placed the Queen Victoria Memorial, built in 1911. On the other hand, Buckingham palace is world famous with the changing of the guard. Every day, at 11'o clock the changing of the guard, in front of the Palace, is watched by different people both London citizens and tourists.

However, if you are going to visit London, you need to book in advance some of the hotels in the city, like Mayfair hotels for instance. And when you are there, do not forget to visit the Buckingham Palace!
