The Symbol of Rome


The capital of Italy is Rome and it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. Every year, thousands of tourists from the entire world go there to enjoy its beauty and to feel the amazing ancient atmosphere. For such reasons, even expensive and reputed hotels like hotel Cavalieri and Woldorf Roma are fully booked through the whole year.

Moreover, Rome attracts with its unique treasures which include: significant sculptures and fountains, magnificent buildings with ancient architecture and many beautiful landscapes that you could enjoy during your stay there.

One of the most famous tourist attractions all around the globe is placed in Rome. The Colosseum is the most popular and impressive symbol of Rome. This magnificent monument is built for eight years. Furthermore, it is finished in 80 AD by Roman emperor's son Titus. On the other hand, that ancient ruin were a playground for different games and events like deadly gladiator combats, chariot races and animal fights. An interesting fact about gladiator games is that before every battle, gladiators shout to the emperor the words “Ave, imperator, morituri te salutant”, which means “Hail, emperor, men soon to die solute you”.

In a conclusion, that creation of the human mind is something you must see. So, do not wait! Pack your suitcases and take the first flight to Rome, as soon as possible!
